Jim has loved the drums for as long as he can remember and started playing at the age of 13, took weekly drum lessons from a great jazz latin drummer and by the age of 16 was playing professionally 2 nights a week. Over the years he has played in a huge variety of bands including jazz and latin bands, big bands, show bands, cover bands, and original bands. He was in bands that have supported and opened for acts such as Jimmy Barnes, Mondo Rock, The Radiators, Dragon, Mental as Anything, English Heavy Metal Band, Uriah Heap and many more.
